(ooc: January 12th, afternoon. Open to all who want to interact with Kopa.)
Surprisingly? Kopa didn't mind too much that he and the other trainees had to help with more... menial tasks around the camp. Doing so gave Kopa a chance to see what everyone else did around camp, and he got a bit of a taste for generally helping. Unlike other trainees, who might have just hungered to get out in the thick of it all and show what they could do, Kopa seemed content enough where he was. That was why he had a little smile on his fuzzy face as he padded from the dish pit to where he saw one last plate and set of utensils. Someone must have just left them, he thought as he carefully took the plate in his teeth. The task was a bit tricky, but with a little trial and error he found the right way to hold it and was able to start carrying it back to the cleaning station.
Sploosh. The plate was dunked in the water, and from there Kopa did his best to get it as clean as he could. Having a lack of thumbs did make the task tricky, but he was doing his best. Once he was satisfied with his work and gotten the plate into the pile with the other clean dishes, he stood up a little taller and just smiled. No one could complain that he hadn't done what was asked of him.
"So... now what?" Kopa wondered aloud. He didn't have an official mentor, at least not yet, so it wasn't like he could ask someone to start training him. Honestly, though, he probably wouldn't have asked even if he did have one. Combat training wasn't something he was overly interested in at the moment. Maybe since he had a little downtime, though, he could see if he could get away with just talking with someone. Maybe he could even play around with some of the other trainees! Not the cheetah, of course. She was Kion's friend and probably was a bit too busy right then anyway.
Kopa let his mind wander with potential as he padded forward, but he forgot which way he was meant to be going and wound up knocking right in to the dirty dish water container. A startled squeak of a roar broke from his maw as he was soaked, the remaining water sloshed out into the grass beneath him, and after stumbling backward he gave himself a thorough shake. Kopa only realized belatedly that he might have put someone in the splash zone by doing so.
"Sorry! Sorry..." Kopa's ears folded back a bit as a sheepish little grin took hold on his face. If anyone was paying attention, the youngest prince couldn't say for certain that he knew it. "Clumsy paws. I didn't mean to..." It was just water. Who cared? Besides, he'd finished the task already. Surely he couldn't be reprimanded, right?
