(OOC: Set on February 6th mid-day, closed to Angel)
Anna stared down the long corridor and took in a long deep breath. Ever since the ambush in the woods, the redheaded princess had mostly been confined to the castle to recuperate. The wound was deep and had impaired her walking ability to the point where she needed a stick to lean on. However, Anna decided, today would be the day that that would change.
She was always a terrible patient, impatient to get better right away. It didn't help matters that there was a festival on, as well. It was also the principle of the thing. Anna had spent her whole life cooped up in the castle! They had just opened the gates, all of these interesting new people move in...only for her to be confined inside once more. It was infuriating!
However, it wasn't like Anna didn't understand the matters at hand. Elsa was inconsolable after the night in the woods and it pained Anna to see her sister so upset. If Elsa wanted her to stay close, then Anna would stay close. But that didn't mean that she couldn't try and heal herself as fast as possible.
Anna leaned the stick up against the wall and sucked in a deep breath. This would be her first time trying to walk without it and hopefully she wouldn't make a complete fool of herself. "You can do this," she said under her breath, steadying herself against the wall. "You can do this."
She took one tentative step forward. She wobbled but stood tall. An excited noise lodged itself from her throat and a grin exploded across her features. Her hand grazed the wall as she took another step forward. Another squeal of excitement burst forward. Maybe things were going to be fine after all! Maybe she'd be out among the festival by tomorrow!
Anna stepped forward once again and started to teeter. She tried to grab something to no avail. The next thing the princess knew was that instead of staring at the end of the hall, she was staring up at the ceiling. She let out a very unprincess-like groan. Elation to defeat in a matter of seconds.
She tried to grab her stick to stand but found it was too far away. There wasn't really anything else for her to lean on as well. Anna was stuck and a shiver of panic ran through her. Unless someone was around, she wasn't going to be going anywhere.
"Hello?" Anna called out, glancing around. "Is anybody there? There's a princess stuck on the floor!"
