Clash of Fates
You’ve heard the story before.
A lion rises to become king. His younger brother grows jealous, plotting secretly behind closed doors and in the shadows. The lion has a son. The brother, infuriated, strikes against both. The brother has a plan and it goes into motion. The release of a stampede, the saving of a cub, claws in stone to save oneself. Betrayal.
“Long. Live. The King.”
However this is where things start to shift.
The world has been changing, ripples moving along the water. Now comes a splash.
With a crash, a man comes and saves the golden lion king from certain death. This man is Tarzan, the ape-man. Whatever he felt, a stir in his heart, a flash of a vision, caused him to change the course of history for the pridelands and for the world.
Revealed for the scoundrel and murderer he is, Scar and his mate Zira are banished into the Outlands. But Scar’s interest has been peaked. What are these other lands outside of Africa? And how could they be his?
Things are peaceful in the pridelands. Years go by and Simba grows up, learning from his father. He falls in love with Nala and the two expand the royal family by having Princess Kiara, Prince Kion and Prince Kopa. Things seem peaceful.
Nothing lasts forever.
Rising from the depths of the shadows comes Maleficent. She has survived. She’s seen the shifting of the world and wants it all. And will unite the world’s evil in order to control all before her. So she starts to gather evil allies from around the lands that appear. She’s built an army.
And Scar wants in.
Offering his allegiance to Maleficent, Scar and the animals from other worlds he’s begun to gather now have joined the evil army. Mufasa and Sarabi, fearing for their family and the circle of life, starting gather heroes of their own. Tarzan, Aladdin, Hercules, heroes of all over come and not a moment too soon.
There’s a battle. Blood is spilt on the ground. Lives changed forever. But the Pridelands remain owned by the heroic hearts of the fighters of evil.
Alas, Maleficent’s rage poisons the African area as big thorn patches sprout all over the land making them uninhabitable. With heavy hearts our heroes go to the Enchanted Forest, where they have set up their headquarters.
The villains however slink over the landscape. Over the months they collect land reaching farther than just Maleficent’s castle.
And they continue to collect. And the Enchanted continue to fight them back to claim the land back for good.
So where do you align yourself? With the villains who are grabbing, taking whatever they can kill to get? With the heroes who fight for peace and honor? Or with the resistance...the secret protectors of the citizens caught up in this mess?
Welcome to Clash of Fates.
