Kai the basics full name • Kai nicknames • None age • 2 years old primary standing • Soilder secondary standing • None faction • The Cursed Thornes (though he is hardly loyal to them) species • what gender • Male (He/him) sexuality • Heterosexual the appearance origin • The Jungle Book height and weight • 2 feet from shoulder, and 40 pounds overall appearance • Kai is a slim, fit leopard, who looks healthy and despite his size (which is still big for a clouded leopard) which is smaller then an actual leopard, but he is bigger than a cat and his claws are sharp, but not unnatural. When threatened, he'll puff out his chest and hiss. Do not underestimate him, he is a demon in battle. He is agile, swift, and quick. For a feline his size, some think that is impressive, and are impressed with his fighting skills. He has black spots, and grayish white fur. He is considered a good looking person, or a leopard. He has deep green eyes that when people look into them, they are dazzling. the personality likes • hunting, the sunlight, spying on others for info, his home, his family. dislikes • Maleficent, people mocking him, working for the Cursed Thornes, being threatened strengths • His sharp, but not unnatural, claws, his cunning and wit weaknesses • His family, who'd he;d fight for no matter what, the other reason he was working for the Cursed Thornes. His size, and the fact that some take advantage of this. abilities if any, mainly pertains to spells. They must be balanced. - None dreams • To one day finally learn everything he can about Maleficent and free himself and his family from her tight grip. fears • Maleficent finding out he is not on her side and therefor putting his family in jeopardy. overall personality • Kai is a sarcastic leopard, taunting anyone who tries to insult him, but has a soft spot for people who aren't totally in the Cursed Thorn's thrall. He has a very personal beef with Maleficent, though acts loyal to her. She did something that he would . never forgive. Ever. He is a caring person though, and can't bring himself to kill an innocent. He has a liking for hanging around younger people. Children. He has a heart, but has to hide it to remain with the Cursed Thornes. He is out for revenge. On only one person. Maleficent. He is sometimes short tempered, but otherwise, he is a misunderstood leopard. Around Maleficent, though, even though he hates her a lot, he is also scared of her at first, and stammers when ever he is around her. the history father • Kanihi, older adult, alive, location unknown, somewhere in Maleficent's castle mother • Reti, older adult, alive, location unknown, somewhere in Maleficent's castle siblings • Renzi, a year old (when he died), deceased (killed by Maleficent) important people • No one. overall history • Kai was born in India and growing up, he had received a brother named Renzi, who he loved dearly. His parents, Kanihi, and Reti, who he loved very much, were always out hunting, so Kai would have to take care of his brother, which he didn't mind at all. He grew very close to his brother, who grew to be very independent and questioning people, thanks to Kai. Kai spent months on end in the jungle, learning how to hunt (and even fight) he'd like to bask in the sunlight, sometimes with his brother, which he liked the best. But then the war came, and even before the Cursed Thornes came they had heard terrible things about their leader, Maleficent. When Maleficent had crossed their path, and told them to join her, or die, Renzi, who didn't like her at all, told her to screw off. Maleficent gave a stoic stare before smiling, only flicked her wrist and lightning struck the poor young leopard, killing Renzi instantly. There were a few moments where there was utter silence. Then, a loud scream escaped Kai, and not even caring that she was here, cried in agony in sorrow. Maleficent seemed to laugh, giving him the choice to join her or have the rest of his family die. Kai, so overwhelmed with grief, and not thinking straight, broke down, and just gave himself to her. This was a mistake on his part. But Maleficent seemed to like the fact that he gave himself over. He would then feel another emotion. Pure hate for Maleficent, a burning sensation unlike any other. He wanted revenge, but knew he'd never be able to kill her at this point. Not now.
