Hans’s freckled features portrayed a shine, peachy freckled face was round with smiling mirth and he regarded the two comfortably. He found himself liking their personalities; they were whimsical and bouncy like a fairy almost. In the past, Hans wouldn’t have been considered a believer of the mythical arts but having witnessed a woman who could radiate ice and many other bizarre phenomenon, he believed anything at this point. For the sake of his sanity, he decided to stop thinking about his past for a moment. His heart burned imagining Anna and the regret and despair caused him to feel as though there was no hope. Sitron, his treasured friend wanted him to continue on and look for new hope.
“Cheatin’?” he parroted, copying her accent by complete accident due to the slip of a tongue, his face wasn’t offended, more so contorted in sly amusement. “I’ve used both, I suppose you could say that,” he laughed, uncaring to argue with her since his loyalties didn’t lie with either instrument.
“They sure do sound fun,” he commented fondly, trying his best to imagine brothers that weren’t his. Gaze slid to either girls, face soft as he witnessed their casual exchanges. Friends as family? Family that wasn’t blood? All Hans truly ever wanted was to find his own place, he thought that meant a kingdom for himself but not he wasn’t sure. “This guy right here,” he slid his hand through his mane, tossing the short locks about, “He’s my only family that matters now,” saying out loud was bizarre and he almost hesitated as if he was verbally denouncing his family and he blinked slowly. Perhaps that was true, he didn’t look like a prince and he hesitated, looking towards the girls with a sudden urge to confess.
“I…I’m very grateful that you’re showing me to the inn,” Hans decided not to, perhaps he was afraid of their rejection. In the distance he could see a building parting from the trees, a look of amusement contorting over his nose towards the title. He thought the name was a joke, guess it was true.
