Around her neck is a red collar with a diamond shaped tag with her name inscribed on it. the personality overall personality • Snooty, a bit on the petty side, vain, caring, and driven at her core. Despite that, Collette does hate the idea of being abandoned. Especially by her family. She also has a tendency to take on blame for things happening to those she cares about when it isn't really her fault. the history overall history • Collette was born the eldest daughter of Lady and Tramp, perhaps the oddest couple in terms of appearance on Snob Hill. Still, she lived a happy life in Marceline with her family. Life did take a turn for a time when her brother, Scamp, ran away one July and caused quite the upset amongst the family. It made Collette realize just how important it was that they stick together and show support for one another. Perhaps, she thought, Scamp might not have run away at all if he knew how much she and her sisters cared about him instead of how they used to tease him. Luckily, Scamp did get brought home by Tramp and a strange dog Collette was unfamiliar with. The stranger, a mix named Angel, was taken in by the family and Collette was right there with her family to welcome Angel into their ranks. They did owe her a good deal, after all. Without her, Scamp might not have survived long. Then things began to change in the years that passed. First, the world around them altered. The worlds merged, and with that came the call of war. Angel announced she was leaving, and although Collette couldn't understand why Angel would want to leave their comfortable home to fight in some dirty war she did support her adoptive sister's choice. She'd come home. She had to. Then Lady vanished into the night. This was a big blow to Collette. How could her mother just walk out on them like that without saying a word? Tramp soon followed after, then Danielle, and then Scamp. Scamp was less of a surprise. He'd been the loudest about voicing his issue with Angel leaving, so he must have pursued her. But Danielle came as a surprise to her. Especially so after Tramp had left them in the care of their uncles Jock and Trusty. Collette began to grow anxious. What was happening to their family? It was down to just her and Annette in the care of their uncles. For a time, Collette felt a little more at peace. Perhaps the two sisters could still maintain things and help Jim Dear and Darling around their home. It may not have been the seven dogs their humans were used to, but Collette liked to think that it would be enough. Especially if she had her remaining sister by her side. Except... she didn't. One day, Annette too vanished into thin air. That was the breaking point for Collette. Dogs weren't supposed to just leave their comfortable home to go off to a war, or vanish into the night, or... whatever they all were doing! Since Collette liked to think of herself as sensible, she told Jock and Trusty that she was going to bring her family back and get things back to normal. Someone had to, after all. So, after asking her uncles to try and tell Jim Dear and Darling that all would be well (as any dog could,) she left to try and find her family. Along the way, though, Collette got herself lost. Terribly lost, at that. Despite having street dog in her blood, she was not the world traveler that Tramp was. Nor was she as street smart or capable. As a result, she wound up going in the exact opposite direction that her family had gone and wound up within Cursed Thorns territory. Lost, confused, and utterly disheartened by the turn of events, Collette was left emotionally vulnerable. Why was this happening? Why couldn't her family just stay together like it was supposed to? It was as she was wondering all of this that fate presented her with one particular poodle. The stranger, who she'd come to know as Georgette, listened to her tale. It was also Georgette who planted one particular idea in her head. Her family didn't want to be in their cozy, ideal little life anymore. They weren't going to be coming back home because they had abandoned her. The idea crushed Collette, but given the circumstances? She couldn't deny that it was likely. She could have just gone home after that. She could have been content to happily wait for family that wouldn't even do that much. However, Collette was tired. She was tired of sitting around and waiting for something to happen. Georgette then suggested something. Instead of going home, Collette could do something proactive. There was a group who could use a dog like her, one that Georgette happened to belong to. Without hesitating, Collette agreed. She would join the Cursed Thorns. And she wouldn't let herself be open to the idea of being abandoned by anyone again. the Role play sample NOPE. the role player alias • what you'd like us to call you age • if you'd like pronouns • so we don't misgender you by accident how did you find us? • through ad, friend, etc. We'll just like to know!
