overall appearance • A very large, round woman. She has fair skin, black eyes and black hair that's tied in the back with a red headband. She dresses in a black-and-red gown with black-and-yellow stripes. Beneath her gown are a pair of white bloomers with a heart pattern. She wears gold earrings, and a comically small crown atop her head which, no matter what she does, remains perched where it belongs. She commonly carries a large, heart-shaped scepter with a slender golden handle. When she departed Wonderland, she brought a large ax, with a long, golden haft, topped with a heart-shaped blade forged from red steel.

the personality

overall personality • Dangerously psychotic, short-tempered, and given to rapid, often-explosive mood swings. When riled up, she is given to throwing her weight around, if not outright calling for the target of her wrath to be beheaded. She has a great fondness for croquet (Wonderland style, so long as she doesn't lose), unbirthday parties (especially her own), and losing her temper. The only person able to curb her more violent tendencies is her husband, the King of Hearts, whom she tends to treat more like a child than her consort.

the history

overall history • Given the nature of Wonderland, nobody can say for certain how long her Majesty has reigned as queen, or even much at all about her origins. That is, when they gave it much thought. While she was the undisputed ruler of Wonderland, she spent most of her time indulging her own whims instead of doing anything queenly. Contrariwise, this being Wonderland, that could be seen as the epitome of being queen. it was certainly her way of doing things, and there was no other way.

The only time in Wonderland's history that she didn't get her way, or simply forget what had gotten her upset in the first place, was when a little girl named Alice blundered into Wonderland. After the little girl managed to upset Her Majesty during a game of croquet, the Queen was begrudgingly convinced to hold a trial for Alice, during which the Queen's temper was once again ignited, ending with her chasing after Alice, determined to prevent the girl from leaving Wonderland. Her attempt failed, and for a long time afterward, she brooded within her castle, threatening to behead anybody who so much as caught her eye, except for the king.

It wasn't until word reached her about the colliding worlds beyond Wonderland that she finally figured out a way to take matters into her own hands, and seek out the insolent little girl who not only dared to trespass uninvited into her domain, insult her, throw jam on her face, and whack her on the head with a hammer before having the audacity to escape. With a dire warning for her subjects to not make her lose her temper when she returned or be beheaded, she ventured forth from Wonderland, and ended up falling in with the Cursed Thorns.
