A large, short nosed head set to a rounded neck, dominated by two flat horns protruding from the brow ridge. Tail is more round and stiff than in other theropods. The scales are hard and thick, rusty in color on the topside and grey underbelly, with small round osteoderms forming rows from the back of the neck to the tail tip. the personality overall personality • Cunning, patient, calculative, aggressive, begrudging, vengeful. the history overall history • The years following after the herds, picking off the weaker, slower members, were good. Yes, there were spans of difficulty, the herds taking a different course or the weather hindering the creature's tracking but they still ended in full bellies. The carnotaur was content with this cycle, plodding through the varying terrains with its family group. Even when this family dwindled to just two the beast was content. Then the sky rent apart and tumbled to the earth. The lands became harsher, dryer. Devoid of their lush greens and comforting forests the prey herds had to travel new routes to find their nesting grounds and the carnotaurs were forced to follow suit. Slowly, these new lands gave way to creatures and prey the predator had never seen before. No longer did things cloak themselves in tough hides but were soft skinned and covered in velvety down. Still, the Red Devils filled their bellies and ate well despite the change. Just as the pair had started to become used to this favorable change the land turned to black twisting thorns which hid smaller creature more cunning than the prey herds. In the dark of night the pair was set upon. It was a bloody fight with many of the smaller creatures laying dead and trodden on the ground, but some where in the chaos the smaller of the pair found herself abandoned. The sudden panic at being alone gave her attackers the distraction they needed and quickly overcame the single theropod. Tied down with chains and strong ropes, the carnotaur's gleaming red eyes filled with curses of vengeance as her captors relished in their victory. Even now bound by chain and collar the creature plots for her revenge while at the same time hoping to find her lost kin.
