(January 9th, Inside of the castle's corridors. Open.)
This castle was definitely not made for modern science.
That was the first thing that Honey Lemon could say with certainty as she worked away in her own separate 'experiment' room. And no, it was not just because she had to bring all her own equipment, though that was a downside to working within Arendelle's castle. With a kingdom with far less developed technology, Honey Lemon herself had to make do with what she had initially brought along to the war - though she did make plans for more shipments of supplies from home to come later, if possible. She'd certainly need it eventually.
As the only science engineer in the Enchanted Suns (that she knew of), she had specifically requested a room for her to work in by herself. One that was sturdy enough to hold any possible explosions, expansions, or otherwise that might have been the result of one or more of her chemical trials. Sturdy built room, desk high enough to protect her devices and other chemical mixes in case things got messy, and more than one cleaning supply in the corner for when things inevitably did get messy.
Too bad she may have forgotten one important factor. Not having the door locked. Orrr, firmly shut.
At least Honey Lemon could say she had gone several days incident free until now! Still, such a record had been broken by a spill of a purple and blue substance spilling out of the doorway of her experiment room, spilling out fresh into the hallway. Easily avoided by anyone who wasn't initially in the way, but still - seems the mess is spreading out as it slowly filtered out of the room.
"Sorry, sorry!" A shout came from Honey Lemon, though she had no idea if anyone was even out here at the moment. Still, better safe than sorry. As the young adult finally appeared out of the door way, looking less frazzled than one probably should by the situation. Instead, she seemed... well excited, as she finally slammed the door shut behind her, containing the rest of the substance inside of the room, and now focusing on the external mess. Some might be more bothered, but Honey Lemon saw it like this: It gave her incentive to figure out the quirks of some of her more experimental formulas quicker, rather than having an accidental mess like this again.
Trudging through the mess, which each picked up foot making a small 'pop' noise, as the substance seemed to stick to the woman's shoes, she finally maneuvered out of the way of the mess to one edge of it. Hair done up in a bun, some sort of spritz cleaner in hand... well, it seemed that the next challenge to tackle, instead of a new chemical concoction, was going to be cleaning up a disaster. More than doable!
