(January 15th, open to Enchanted Suns, and of course Sarabi/Mufasa seeing as the arrival was announced ^^)
A great castle near a forest, two talking lions, and some names. Azalea could not say she had much more to go by than that. However, at least she had a place to start, and a mission to accomplish. A war was coming - it had already begun. Not only had it uprooted all of these places and these lives since The Great Change, as her mother had called it...but it was threatening beyond here, now. It was threatening far closer to home. With the throne soon to fall to her...there was no way in hell Azalea was about to sit back and do nothing. She had a kingdom to protect, and the sooner this war ended, the sooner their safety would be ensured. She was not about to sit back on some pint sized throne waiting to be stomped on by some overgrown, flying lizard.
"Oh my Princess, you will love it there, I'm just certain you will! And we're not even late!" Chuckling softly, Azalea landed, before allowing her size to change as she lowered the hood of her cape. Her blue complexion in a settlement of perfectly ordinary looking people drew many eyes, yet the royal ignored them as she held out a hand for the chatty bird to land on. "I'm sure I will," she agreed gently, lifting her gaze to examine her surroundings. It sure was hard to miss the castle itself - sure, her castle had always been bigger than her when in her fae form, but something this huge was truly astonishing. It was not even made of wood! To think, the first humans she had met seemed like such primitive beings, and the rest she had only seen living in small rugged villages or towns. This was simply...well, more than she had expected, even with the fact she knew she was looking for a castle.
Two more fairies shifted form behind her, taking up position either side. However, the rest of her party had remained where they had last stayed that morning. Azalea had felt it might be...inappropriate, to come into the kingdom with an entire entourage of soldiers, even if they were in fairy form. No matter the fact the waxwing bird had announced she was coming to meet the head of this war force ahead of time, two royal guards and two tiny critters was enough to draw eyes as it was.
Wings safely tucked away beneath her cloak for the moment, the royal glanced pointedly at her company. "We might as well look around while we wait - where is that relaxed composure we practiced?" Shaking her head with a playful eye roll, Azalea let the bird flutter off about her own devices as she began looking around. Sure, she had business to attend, but for the moment...what was the harm in a little exploration?
