(ooc: January 14th, within the forest and around a stream. Mid-afternoon. Open to Kopa, Sarabi, and Mufasa. Will open up to the rest of the Enchanted Suns family as we get them, but for now? Fluffy time with the grandparents and the grandbaby.)
Little puffs of hot breath came through his nose and mouth as Kopa ran through the grassy forest. He'd finished up the last of his chores a bit early, and before he could be tasked with anything else he wanted to get a bit further ahead and just have a little bit of fun. Perhaps it was silly for Kopa to worry. Who would seek him out in particular to do something else? No one, at least as far as Kopa could tell. He ran with every intent of finding something cool to do. Something he could brag about to his friends, he thought, would have been pretty nice. As Kopa started to slow, though, he realized that he had only made it as far as a little stream. There, he just stared down into the water and plopped himself down to sit. This wasn't as exciting as he'd hoped for.
"There's not even any fish or anything," Kopa complained. What was the fun of discovering a stream if there was nothing to do there and nothing to see? As he pouted a bit, the cub knocked a little pebble into the water and watched as little ripples formed. That did make him feel a little better. In fact, he thought it was kind of fun.
Laughing a bit, Kopa laid himself down and knocked another pebble into the water. It splashed water up gently and hit his muzzle and whiskers in the process, but he didn't care. The water even was making his reflecting ripple and warp a bit as a result of his actions. That made him laugh more.
"I look like a water monster," Kopa snickered. Another pebble was added to the stream and he let a soft 'mrow' break free of his muzzle, almost like he was pretending to be a monster. As silly as it was, Kopa rolled onto his side and laughed. Then the laughter died down. Apart from the constant babbling of the stream and the ambiance of nature, it was pretty quiet right then. His ears drooped.
"Guess I should've waited to see if anyone else wanted to play or something," he mumbled. "It's too quiet."
