Not only is she tall, but her height is often boosted by the high heeled shoes she is so fond of wearing. She has tan skin and hazel eyes, and her long strawberry-blonde hair is typically kept out of her face by a soft headband (or otherwise put in a bun if she's working on a project that has the potential to get messy). When not in uniform, she can be found in a comfortable and color-coordinated outfit, with large red glasses noticeably adorning her face. The look is usually completed with a matching purse or handbag. Her superhero uniform consists of a bright pink helmet (visor adjusted to act as a stand-in for her glasses), pink bodysuit, and red breastplate. This look is completed by the addition of darker under-armor, purple platform boots, and her weapon: the Chem Purse. the personality overall personality • You want an optimist? Talk to Honey Lemon. This girl is a ball of sunshine, through and through: warm, inviting, and eager to share her passion with others. She's very much an extrovert, always happy to start up a conversation with someone who might be more reluctant to do so. Her outlook on life is wholly positive; the glass is always half full. Much like her dear friend Tadashi, she strives to make the world a better place through her work – in this case, her advancements in chemical application. She’s just a tad eccentric, with a mad scientist flair to her work method, but her enthusiasm comes directly from a bubbly, empathetic heart. You know you’ve done wrong by her if you find her legitimately angry with you. She also adores anything that is cute or aesthetically pleasing, being big on things that are considered “kawaii.” Honey is, by and large, the "mom friend" – she’s keen about checking up on those close to her, and always has their best interests in mind. the history overall history • Honey Lemon grew up in the heart of San Fransokyo, with parents whose biggest goal was making sure that their daughter was happy no matter what she did. From the time she was young, she had taken a keen interest in science -- chemistry in particular -- which her parents were more than happy to let her explore. This led to many, many years of encouraged exploration often marked by bombastic, explosive, hand-concocted experiments, and an eventual decision to focus on a career in chemical engineering. The day Honey Lemon was accepted into the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology was a joyous one. It was at this college that she had found the program of her dreams -- not only would she be able to customize an individualized learning plan for her degree progression, but she would be able to openly associate with students in different fields. It was here that she met the people who would soon become her closest friends: physics major GoGo Tomago, robotics major Tadashi Himada, fellow engineer Wasabi, and Fred, who was... well... Fred was Fred. But to his credit, he was the one who gave her the nickname "Honey Lemon" in the first place, which everyone took to using in tandem with the other nicknames much more than her actual name. She even got to know Tadashi's younger brother Hiro, once he started coming around to the lab and working on his own projects under Tadashi's supervision. However, everything changed that fateful night when the fire broke out during the robotics exhibition. Tadashi, the cornerstone of their group, was tragically lost in the accident. In an effort to step up and make sure someone was keeping an eye on him, Honey (along with the rest of Tadashi's friends) made a point to keep an eye on Hiro. This led to them aiding him and Tadashi's robot, Baymax, in stopping a not-quite-dead Callaghan from wreaking havoc on San Fransokyo. On a larger note, this victory helped to spark the formation of superhero group Big Hero 6. But it didn't stop here for them. Now, Honey found herself tasked with a new set of responsibilities, taking on superhero duties in addition to continuing her studies at SFIT. She also began a part-time enrollment in the San Fransokyo Art Institute in order to have an outlet where she could nurture her creative spirit. But when the merge happened, everything was thrown out of whack. San Fransokyo, though at a distance from the war that was starting, was already beginning to feel the effects. The group got together to discuss their course of action, with Hiro feeling particularly roused to aid in the effort.
