Always offering a smile, one will find her pleasant company if they don't mind listening to her talk. Even if she finds herself talking a bit too much, she is quick to apologize and tone it down a notch, or five. Willing to work, Bee always finds a place for her at any table, dutifully going about whatever task is given to her; unless it involves sheep. Despite her seemingly endless joy, Bee is sensitive and easily disheartened. Often when it comes to dealing with one who is blunt and uncaring in their words or forceful and demanding in actions. This is usually the only time the normally smiling and talkative girl will be found sullen and quiet. Though, the only one she will let see her cry is Beetle. the history father • Stank, 31, Sheep farmer - Deceased mother • Agatha, 29, Sheep farmer - Deceased siblings • Ram, 21, Hunter/Tanner - Older Brother important people • Maybelle, 67, Sheep farmer - Grandmother on father's side overall history • Bee remembers it like it was yesterday despite all her wanting to forget; that fateful night in deep winter. The barn was stocked full of summer hay to feed the herds during the snow laden months, the flocks themselves nestled safely within the lumber walls tucked right next to house her family lived in. She was only six at the time, but the sudden explosion, straw fed flames, and shouts of braying sheep and men mixed with the bellows of dragons branded the memory forever in her mind. It was the night both her parents died in the attack, trapped in the burning barn while trying to save their flock. Raised from then on by her grandmother, she came to view the sheep as the reason for her parents death. If the dragons hadn't come to steal away the sheep then the fire would never have started and her mother and father would still be alive. If her parents weren't sheep herders then they would not have been at such a risk as one who fished or cut lumber. Her brother blamed the dragons themselves, Bee blamed the sheep. Two years after Hiccup showed the world how the dragons truly were, Bee met fate in the form of a giant, fire breathing bug. The Rumblehorn, though acting disinterested in the teenager while she explored the woods just outside of her village, often settled himself close by. Like a guardian watching over its charge, he was never far nor did he try to hide himself from the girl. It soon became normal to find the two of them walking through the woods, searching for various insects and plant life. And it was no surprise when the behemoth reptile followed the thirteen year-old Beatrice home. The pair is nigh inseparable, one always following the other as if physically tethered together. Normally it is Beetle who is seen plodding after his smaller companion on her many outings. When word reached Berk that a war was brewing elsewhere and help was needed, Bee decided to shed her mundane life following in her family's occupational footsteps as sheep farmers and take up arms. Perhaps her skills of self-taught scouting, tracking, field research and information could be used by these other peoples. That, and she was dying to do something other than clean barns and tend sheep all day. the Role play sample The crashing of waves sent salty sea spray hundreds of feet into the air before cascading down upon the much disgruntled Beetle. The only complaint that would be had from him was simply a shake of his bulky form and a deep glower plastered onto his features. The constant, sporadic manner of repetition used the waves had the beast sitting on a rocky outcrop with his back to the open sea. Bee, on the other hand, was crouched over a small pool filled with rich emerald colored moss and seaweed all but oblivious to the momentary downpour. It would have been hopeless for her to have be taking notes but she mentally jotted everything down for later note taking. In one of her hands was a clump of the slimy like vegetation while the other slowly poked through it. The object of her interest was not the mossy greens but a small, shelled creature. It looked like an Ear-wig at first glance but lived almost strictly in these tiny pools collected throughout the rocky cliff-face. Bee had come to conclude that they were in fact not a species of insect but a small shrimp like animal. With one of the tiny creatures delicately pinched between a finger and her thumb, the girl talked to herself about it. "Maybe its like a crab? Only... longer? But there are bugs who live in water, so this could be a bug... Ugh. Beetle, I should have brought the jars that Grandma made. Then I could take this back and study it more." Finally tearing her gaze from the squirming animal she looked up at the dragon who had turned his horned head to glare at her. The last few sprays had sent stray streamers of seaweed over his form. "Oh my", was Bee's giggled reply as Beetle looked so depressed and irritated. Everything about him begged to go somewhere so very much less wet. the role player alias • RedoftheWolf, Redwolf (Normally I prefer being called 'Red' but I saw where you already have a Red) age • 26 pronouns • Female - she/her how did you find us? • My friend, Boulder, linked me here. other characters • if any |
