Mulan
Enchanted Suns - Soldier - Mulan

I don't really have a lot in mind for Mulan at this point, honestly. I was more interested in what she could contribute to the war, than anything; she's got experience, she KNOWS what it is to fight in a war, knows what it is to face an enemy that's numerically superior and to have nothing but the ability to improvise on her side. I feel like, though, when the war starts getting serious, she'd be a good person for some of the younger soldiers to come to when they struggle with it. She's been there herself, she knows far too well what it is to face the horrors of war for the first time.
I kinda think it could be cool if she took a younger girl under her wing, became kind of a mentor to her? We see in a couple of brief moments in the movie that she cares more specfically about younger girls, and I think it would be really neat if she could form a bond there.
Of course, I'd also love to see Shang and Mushu show up, for whatever interactions those two would bring. Mushu in particular, honestly, since she's so used to having him by her side in battle, and they actually make a surprisingly good team.
Too, learning that Shan Yu is still alive, when someone picks him up; particularly if he's out for blood after the way she took away his victory. That meeting would probably go terribly for her, and I'd love to play around with it; and also, when she returns to Arendelle battered and bloodied from that encounter, to see the reactions of those she's closest to.
Oh; and, and! As and when the plot moves more in the direction of China, I'd love to see her taking an active role in resisting the Cursed Thorns' occupation.
Amelia
Enchanted Suns - Captain - Treasure Planet
Felinid female
Amelia's an experienced captain in many ways, and has been in the Imperial Navy for several years; but for all that, she has a long road ahead of her as far as adapting to this particular war goes. For the most part, her recent experience has been limited to personal campaigns against pirates, as well as the Procyon Armada... and while she will give due respect to an authority figure, she's fallen out of the habit of taking orders. I feel like she's very much inclined to follow her own judgement over a superior's, and I can easily imagine that causing trouble down the line.
That said, Amelia is a very capable soldier herself, and she is certainly the kind of officer to have the backs of those beneath her. Her strategies in the heat of the moment may seem daring, or even foolish, but you can bet that she has weighed up the risks and is confident of what she's doing. I'm not sure what all of this has to do with plotting, I'm just... rambling, I guess.
I have to say, on another note, it would be interesting to see her having to adapt to the technology of the time period; much of it is similar, and yet inferior, to what she's used to - Solar Galleons, for example, are very similar in appearance to ships of the time period; yet the sails are powered by solar rays, the canons shoot laserballs, and the ships have powerful rocket engines. I feel like it would take her some time to adapt to commanding a ship that is merely seagoing.
That said, I think it would be quite neat if she did manage to organise some sort of naval force for the Enchanted Suns. I don't know if the Cursed Thorns would have a seagoing fleet - maybe if someone picked up Captain Hook? In which case, I could totally get behind a very personal rivalry between him and Amelia, as masters of their respective navies - but it would add to the forces the Suns have at their disposal; particularly since Arendelle seems pretty vulnerable by sea.
I'd also be interested to see her be assigned a new first officer. She hasn't taken one yet - in her eyes, Mr. Arrow will be a hard act for anyone to follow - and it could be really fun to see how that dynamic shapes; whether it becomes something like the absolute trust and respect she and Arrow shared, or whether it goes in an entirely different direction.
Also, I am not going to say no to someone claiming Doppler! I'd say the same for their kids, too, but... they really aren't old enough, yet, to be up to much of anything. (Also, did you know their kids canonically have names? I didn't until recently.)
Tiifu
Enchanted Suns - Trainee - The Lion Guard

Tiifu is enthusiastic, eager to please... and just a bit enamoured by royalty. She's eager to learn, and to do her part, but she hasn't quite reached an understanding of just what the war really means. She sees it as something like being a huntress for the Pride; and I think if the carnage and bloodshed was forced to become really REAL to her, it might just break her.
She already has nightmares about when the Pride Lands was overrun with thorns; actually, that's something I'd really like to explore some more, particularly once she has chance to start getting close to people in RP. She hides it away during the day, but to those who see her at night... her more nervous, sensitive side starts to spill out, as she's afraid of reliving those nightmares again. I'd really like her to be able to talk with someone about it, someone who can help her and comfort her.
I'd also love for one of the adults to take her under their wing; her, personally, rather than the cubs in general. I feel like Tiifu doesn't really get much one-on-one time with anybody - she's always with Zuri, or Kiara, or part of a group - and I think it would do her a lot of good to meet an adult who has time for HER SPECIFICALLY.
Also ZURI PLEASE! Tiifu's lonely without her bestie!
Faline
Enchanted Suns - Scout and Messenger - Bambi

My main aim for Faline is for her to actually be useful. She's not a fighter, this is true; but once she's officially taken up her role as scout and messenger, I'd love to be able to play her in that role - perhaps being the first to venture into new territory for the Suns, and running messages back and forth between Arendelle, the Great Forest, and wherever the Suns' front line may be. If you have need for someone to pass messages in that capacity, Faline is absolutely your girl.
Family bonding with her fawns, for sure! Plague and I have already talked about how she's just a little closer to Gurri than she is to Geno, because she understands Gurri's boisterous ways far better than Bambi does; I'd just love to play around with that dynamic. Also maybe someone take Geno please I mean, what?
I'd really just... like to tease more personality out of her? The movie gave very little to her as an adult - she has a grand total of three lines of dialogue, not counting the ones that are just saying / calling Bambi's name - and I'm up for really anything that would give me chance to expand on that ^^
Also, if someone picks him up? A new run-in with Ronno would be fantastic; particularly in a context where she has to stand up for herself to him, without Bambi there to defend her.
Cody
Gilded Wings - Medic trainee - The Rescuers Down Under

Far more than to help people, Cody is in the war to help animals. Any chance of interacting or bonding with animals - particularly those that will be exotic or unusual to him - is amazing, and I'd love to play around with that more. He's already met a couple of dragons, and I feel like his adventures needn't stop there!
Speaking of... I'd love for him to meet someone who can teach him to speak dragon. He already has a gift for animal languages, but simply has no frame of reference for understanding the unique language he's heard from Nova and Light Fury. It would be really neat if he could be taught to understand them.
I'd also love for Cody's past to follow him to the war: both the good - Marahute, pls! - and the bad - McLeach catching up with him. There's a lot of potential either way, there, and I'd look forward to bouncing around ideas if either of them get claimed.
Also, I'd kinda like him to have to interact more with other kids his age. Cody's never been very comfortable around other children, and it'd be cool if he could learn otherwise.
Judy Hopps
(Soon to be) Gilded Wings - Undercover investigator - Zootopia
Bunny female
Well... Judy's allegiance is probably the most complicated I have here, as she's officially joining up with the Gilded Wings... but unofficially working undercover to ferret out their leaders and bring the thieves to justice. Once she gets involved, however, it's going to be hard for her to maintain her professionalism; she can have a good poker-face, but she also isn't always good at keeping a lid on her true opinions for too long. She's bound to slip sometime and let her disdain for criminals show...
And yet? She also is going to find herself strangely sympathising with the Gilded Wings? The way they buck stereotypes, look out for the underdogs, and generally try and make the world a better place in the midst of the darkness of war... isn't that exactly what she joined up to the police force to do? But they're criminals, they're stealing to do so...? Judy is definitely going to find herself becoming very conflicted over where exactly her loyalties should lay - and any Wings who want to be part of that process, feel free to throw your thoughts at me!
And some point, she's bound to jump the wrong way with regards to that, quite possibly at a sensitive time that causes trouble for her and her teammates... but I may be getting a liiiittle ahead of myself here.
I'd love to see Nick join up too, of course; I feel as though he'd settle right in, which would only add to Judy's internal conflict.
Not to even mention, if Bellwether does indeed incite the Cursed Thorns to make a move against Zootopia... I feel like Judy would do anything - and I mean borderline ANYTHING - to save her city, and I'd love to play her at that stage of such... desperation, honestly.
Sunray
Gilded Wings - Scout and Rescuer - Fantasia OC
Pegasus male
I don't really have much in mind for Sunray, other than more fluffies with Orchid. While I'd like him to develop some friendships of his own too, of course, he's mostly going to bounce off of whatever might happen that involves her. He might just seem like a goofball in love, but if something did happen to harm her... just try and hold him back, honestly.
On a different note, though; if anyone did want to claim another Pegasus and say they were one of his siblings, I'd be all for that! All I've established is that he has two brothers and one sister - he was the second foal, his sister was the third, and he was closer to her than to either brother - and that they all drifted apart as they grew older; really, anything is fair game for them otherwise.
Apart from that... I'm mostly just rolling this guy wherever his interactions take him ^^
Angry
Gilded Wings - Thief - Tangled: the Series

MY DAUGHTER.
Angry is, well... angry, and that's the side of her that anyone new is most likely to see. The world has hurt her - children bullied her, adults ignored or tried to get rid of her, she's spent far too much of her young life knowing only what it is to have nothing - and she has no qualms about hurting it back. She's not going to be open much to anyone, unless they can actually show that they care and they want her around... and even then, she's gonna be wary for ages.
She's GOING to get herself and Red into trouble. No two ways about it; Angry is pretty convinced that the rules the Gilded Wings have - about what fledglings can do and where they can go alone - don't apply to her and Red. They're more capable thieves than some of the adults, they've been going where they pleased for pretty much ever... and she's going to continue doing so. Anyone who wants to either encourage her, or try and stop her... I am open to either!
She doesn't really DO normal child stuff; to Angry, she's grown past that, it's a waste of time: she'd much rather put the same skills to use on something that actually benefits her and Red... like stealing, honestly. We already have the potential to work a little that way in the thread with Peter Pan, but I'd like it if someone could, you know... teach her a bit how to be a kid again.
Also, she is FIERCELY protective of Red. This is more a thing between Corgi and I, but I felt it was worth mentioning here... I actually feel like, in her way, Red is a little bit of a security blanket for Angry, too. They've grown so close; that as long as Red's with her, Angry can almost take whatever comes her way; she takes some kind of strength from her need to protect her more vulnerable (so she sees it, at least) partner in crime. If the two were separated, though... Angry would PANIC massively.
Shenzi
Cursed Thorns - Black Knight / Clan Matriarch - The Lion King

Shenzi's another one that I don't really know what I want for. I know that she's looking out for her clan above all (and for her own stomach not far behind that); that she's loyal to Scar so long as he continues to make good on his promises; and that she's just a little too eager to feast on the carnage of war.
Actually, saying that... does give me a couple of thoughts.
I wonder if it mightn't be interesting to test Shenzi's loyalties. To her, the well-being of the clan is first and foremost: she cares for Banzai and Ed, and even her sons too, in her way; but the clan as a whole takes priority over any single member of it, to her. If she felt, perhaps, that her hyenas were being treated unfairly - or if she could be convinced that they were, that maybe they were being put on the front lines more often than other soldiers, and were suffering the bulk of the army's losses - I definitely think she's lose faith with Scar; she might even be tempted to pull out on him completely if he did something REALLY bad by her (see: using her clan as a scapegoat to get Simba off his back in the movie). In the right circumstances, it could be interesting to see if someone is able to turn that clan loyalty to their advantage, to lure her into turning on Scar if things start going badly for them.
And on a different note, I'd find it cool to see Shenzi interacting with more of the other females within her clan. We known that in a typical hyena clan, even the lowest-ranking female is higher than the highest-ranking male... and yet, we see Shenzi's two main companions are male. I can't believe she's the only lady hyena in her clan, so I'd be interested to explore if there was some reason behind the unusual dynamic of having males as her second-in-commands.
Speaking of, while I know it's not canon here... I saw an interesting fancomic ages ago where Shenzi was interacting with Asante, the young hyena girl from a reputedly unofficial TLK German audio drama. It just makes me think: I'd find it interesting for Shenzi to interact with any of her cubs; but I definitely feel like, if someone else in the clan had a girl cub, Shenzi would take more of a shine to grooming her as eventual successor than she has to any of her sons. It would certainly make for a dynamic worth exploring between Shenzi, Janja and said girl.
Experiment 624, a.k.a. "Angel"
Cursed Thorns - General troublemaker - Lilo & Stitch: the Series

So... as you know, I reset Angel back to before her episode in this timeline. I'd like to clarify that this had nothing to do with her relationship with Stitch, and everything to do with wanting to explore potential for an entirely different take on her 'redemption arc' (if I may borrow the phrase)... and also wanting to thoroughly see how much trouble she could cause before that point would be reached. The episode didn't have time to explore it to the detail I might have liked, and...
Firstly: if anyone is looking to claim an experiment for the villains, and is looking for an explanation why they turned evil again... Angel is your girl, she will happily sing her song to them!
Beyond that... I'd love to explore her dynamic with Stitch and Lilo in this continuity. I'd love to see if she can reach Jumba to turn her siren song on him, and see what trouble that may bring out. I'd love for her to cause some serious harm... and then have to be confronted by the consequences of what she's done.
And Plague, if you're interested in it, I'd love to explore the potential of a relationship with Stitch, still. No worries if you'd rather not ship them, of course; but even if it comes to nothing, I thought it might be fun to plant the seeds of those feelings... and then WRENCH THEM APART >:3 Only if you're up for it, though ^^
Dr. Facilier
Cursed Thorns - Cleric - The Princess and the Frog

This guy... again, hm.
I'd like to explore his potential as a deal-maker who works things for his own ends. I'd like for him to not fully be known as a Cursed Thorn; to maybe trade with a few of the more gullible members of the Enchanted Suns: magical favours in return for information. I'd like opportunity for him to pull off a really elaborate scheme that he's concocted, such as his plot to dispose of Big Daddy LaBouff in the movie.
I'd like a chance to come his way to get out from being in thrall to his Friends on the Other Side.
I'd like to be able to use him in his cleric role too; patching up wounded Thorns... and potentially planting his own seeds of thought in their minds as he does so. Facilier's loyalty isn't truly to Maleficent, his goals are to pay off his debt to his Friends and to subsequently become the most powerful man alive; and I could see him coercing his patients into unwittingly furthering his plans, perhaps even into charging into ill-planned battles with the Suns for no other reason that to increase the count of souls paid to his Friends.
And, of course... there's only so long he can go without crossing paths with Tiana and Naveen again.
Otherwise... I'm open, really ^^
Berlioz
Unaffiliated - Lost kitten - The Aristocats

Ultimately, I think, I'd quite like Berlioz to hook up with the Enchanted Suns. This isn't set in stone, isn't guaranteed; and it would be ages down the road yet, anyway. But I can just imagine him being so PROUD to be one of the heroes this time around...
For now, though? For now, he's just a lost kitten on Paris' cruel streets. I don't really want him to officially hook up with any side for the moment; but he does need someone willing to look out for him, or to teach him the ropes of looking after himself, or he won't last long. Though, really, I'm wide open to ideas for this little guy, so... come at me with anything, honestly!
Dogo
Unaffiliated - Sneaky sneak - The Lion Guard

Nothing really decided with this guy, yet, beyond causing trouble, but... I do feel like he'd make a good spy on the activities of any of the sides. I'm kinda just gonna see what comes, with him, as I play around and see what develops; but, of course, I'm open to any ideas, too! ^^
Karmi
Enchanted Suns - Biotech genius - Big Hero 6: the Series

Well, first, I'd love for Karmi to be able to make herself useful. Canonically, she's developed such things as her extradermal nano-receptors, as well as placing electric circuitry inside plants, so I don't think it's a stretch to imagine she'd be able to come up with something that would help with the war. At the very least, I think it would be interesting for her and Madge to be able to talk about what she can do to help. Maybe find someone who she can look up to, and who can take her under their wing a bit, too?
Actually, I was kind of thinking that, if her work proved to give the Suns an advantage, at some point down the line the Cursed Thorns might catch wind of it and decide that they want her genius on their side instead. I'd really like it if they were able to abduct her and force her to work for them instead... I'm not entirely sure where that would lead, beyond that, but I'd be very interested to explore that!
And... well, of course I'd like to play around with her interactions with Big Hero 6, too. She hasn't published her fanfics yet on this timeline - and, given the lack of phone signal in Arendelle, probably won't be doing that thing anytime soom - but nonetheless. She'd be ecstatic to meet Tall Girl, Red Panda or - especially! - Captain Cutie in person, but remains oblivious to their real identities... much less the fact that her 'beloved' Captain Cutie is actually the very same kid she can't stand at college. I feel like that could all be fun to play with a bit ^^
Perhaps Cody could find one of the experiments in the forest and, thinking they're lost, tries to approach them... and at the same time Lilo is actively hunting for lost Cousins and comes across the same experiment? And that could be their first meeting? I can imagine, on seeing his interest, that she might well rope him into helping her in that task too?
