As an orphan who grew up on the streets of Agrabah, she's been stealing, pick-pocketing, and outrunning the law since she was about five. While she's survived, it has been a lonely life, one that's made Sadira desperate for companionship and love, or any sort of real, human connection where she feels like she truly matters to somebody. However, this is something she's often been denied because of her status in society. Most people simply see her as nothing but a streetrat and don't look twice at her. One day while trying to lose the palace guards, Sadira sought refuge in what she thought was an ordinary hovel. What it turned out to be, however, was a passageway to an underground temple where, she learned, the ancient witches of the sand lived thousands of years ago. While the witches were gone, their scrolls and artifacts still remained. Seeing a chance to better her life and finally get the things she deserved, Sadira taught herself the ancient magic. Sadira was a quick and dedicated study, but it was a slow process, and Sadira is anything but patient. Without someone to study and learn from, her progress simply wasn't where she wanted it to be. When the worlds merged, Sadira thought this could be her chance to venture outside of her bubble and find a more magical land that might assist her in her quest to become a real witch. What she got instead, however, were whispers of a war. A war in which one of the factions was being led by a powerful sorceress named Maleficent. And if their leader was such a powerful magical being, who was to say what kind of sorcerers and sorceresses might be drawn to join her ranks?
