(January 17th, late morning - open to anyone wandering around Paris)
While her mother had always seemed displeased by the jungle, likely comparing it to the Pridelands she once inhabited rather than the Outlands where Vitani had been born and lived out the first portion of her life, the young lioness figured it was still far better even in Zira's eyes than the dreaded human civilizations. A bustling camp of strange contraptions and dens filled with stinking, upright, furless creatures waddling around on two legs and chattering obnoxiously. They never seemed to watch where they were going, and seemed to care little even for each other. At the very least, though, they seemed to give her a wide berth. Be it the reputation of her parents, or the very fact she was a lion in general, seemed to see the foolish creatures at least practicing some sense of caution.
For the most part, this very fact amused her. Here she was, just an eight month old cub, and these dull creatures were afraid of her. Well, in her opinion they were right to be, of course. She had sharp teeth, sharp claws, and not the friendliest of personas either. She made no effort to be nice to those that passed, and even gave a childish little roar to a wandering human cub just to see it run back to its parent, which did not even try to scold her for scaring its young. She meant the stupid thing no harm, of course - her mother and father had made it abundantly clear that, while most likely a means to an end, this ridiculous race were on par as allies, and thus she was not allowed to harm them without reason. However, no one said she could not scare them. Still, did they not register the fact she was just a cub? Compared to the older of her species, she was essentially harmless. Though, considering she was bigger than those lesser felines they seemed to fulfill the whims of, she supposed really she must seem quite formidable.
Laughing slightly to herself at the odd antics of the species, Vitani kept wandering until she found a bench. Frowning up at it, she considered for a moment, before leaping up onto it and settling with her paws stretched out before her, tail flicking slightly at her flank. By not, seeing she was not here to attack anyone beyond giving that cub a little scare before, it seemed most the humans' attention spans had run out, and they were back to whatever they were doing. Go figure.
Not feeling at all threatened in this new place, despite being away from her parents in unfamiliar territory, the little lioness stretched her jaws in a yawn before resting her chin on her paws. Violet-blue eyes absently continued to watch the odd creatures as they passed by, and she silently allowed the lessons from her mother and father the day prior, absently identifying weak points of the species she could exploit if they ever decided to change their tune.
