Closed for Helga
The halls of the Black Keep seemed particularly menacing for the last day or so. Gossip and dangerous information circled its halls and among the pool of wickedness was the tainting of dark shadows. As if this castle needed another touch of evil to it, Eris had been lurking within the corners and cobblestones with her greedy eyes taking in every source of information that the inhabitants had to offer. Well, the ones that interested her anyways. One of which was a tall woman, squared shoulders with a surprisingly strong jaw and sharp eyes. Helga's blonde hair and no bull-shit attitude made for someone that was quite easy to find, for Eris anyways. Helga proved to be rather slipper for others but the powers of a Goddess seemed hard to elude.
Not that Helga knew she was being sought out.
The very shadows of the stone floor beneath Helga's feet seem to flicker and ripple out like a wave. The light snuffed and shuddered before encasing the hall like a cloak, Eris' form like liquid and transparent within the beams of the high ceiling above Helga's head. Her nonexistent body slid like an oceanic beast to the crack of a door just a step behind the mercenary woman and shortly after it'd creek open. When the impish Goddess spoke her voice would be heard deliberately whilst she herself was nowhere to be seen.
"I've been looking for you~" she sing-song'd. While there wasn't anything particularly alarming about Eris' voice in that she didn't sound angry or aggressive, there was a distinct sharpness that the chaos Goddess always had. Mischievous with a touch of danger. Only moments after her voice sounded to Helga alone the door she'd swept herself through cranked open, the metal handle screeching of its own accord before the un-oiled hinges squeaked the wooden door open a crack. Helga was entirely welcome to go running for the hills, but Eris knew that the woman was much braver than that. She'd receive her audience with the capable mortal.
Once Helga would enter the room she'd find it dark as all the other vacant rooms within this cursed castle, but upon setting foot a three pronged candle-holder with mostly used candles would ignite. Between the oddly cold hued flames and the moonlight spilling into the window the room would be well enough lit for Eris to be seen. Her form swirling like delicate smokey ripples and her hair curling unnaturally around her shoulder and down her pair back. She was perched upon a desk, hands gracefully crossed on her lap and her legs crossed although there were no legs currently visible past her hazy tricks.
"Oh" she tutted her tongue once with a grin, "I hope you weren't headed off to anywhere important just yet." she almost cooed. Eris was a cheeky Goddess, and she almost sounded genuine but she knew Helga was smarter than to take her tone at face value.
"I figure you'll be able to make a bit of time in your busy schedule for a Goddess, though?" she queried, raising her brow as if to propose Helga would turn her down in all her infinite power and glory. Unlikely.
