Mor'du born from the blood of his blood. this newborn beast toppled once lush lands in a raging crusade. even when the kingdoms were nothing but rubble Mor'du kept seeking new purchase for his fangs; he was caught eternally within his greed and hatred. they spun ceaselessly around the bear's mind, feeding into the monster until there was barely any memory of a man left. it was during this time that the legendary Demon Bear first crossed paths with King Fergus and his family. everything wrapped up nicely during the next few years much like a happy ending. Mor'du was defeated and his entrapped human spirit was finally laid to rest. that how it looked at least. in reality, the last flicker of morality was released from the beast. the final echoes of what once was an inspired prince banished for good. there was no redemption for Mor'du, and he wanted none. when the stones that bound him fell silent, the awakened monstrosity stood again. new. torn and as ragged as ever, but unchained with regret or sorrow. the world around him had changed too, and it called to him in the most enthralling tone. now more than ever Mor'du craves power - much like a starved rat wants for a meal - and he is willing to do anything to get it. the Role play sample Foreign. That was the best word to describe these new lands beyond the sea. The soil itself seemed to tremble differently than it had back in Scotland. It cowered with every massive paw placed upon it as if begging to be claimed by someone with Mor'du's might. But now was not the time to slow his pace. As much as the beast hungered for reign, something greater was calling him. A magnificent sickness that tainted the air and tugged on his most primal of senses. Like a mouse enthralled by The Piper he marched on. How long had the Demon Bear been walking now? A few days? Weeks? The complexities of time meant nothing to him. He shrugged it off as easily as the blow of an axe. Even the sharp gnaw of hunger was silenced in favor of progress. And such resilience was soon rewarded. In the distance, painted against the dimming sky, stood his destination. Like an ebony claw it reached up to threaten the very heavens; the Black Keep. It called to his empty soul with whispers of opportunity, and Mor'du was eager to answer. the role player alias • Boulder age • 22 pronouns • female (she/her) how did you find us? • an ad other characters • none |
