(Open to Gilded Wings/Enchanted Suns that would be chilling within the bar. January 24th. Before Noon(Many hours before everyone returns from Chaos Intervenes.)
As small feet clambered atop an alleyway wall, his disk like ears swiveled to seek the most interesting location. Suction tipped toes pressed against the brick as he crept forward, his turquoise tongue parting past flattened teeth to taste the surrounding area. An interesting smell wafted forth from a rather loud establishment. Eyes the hue of cobalt blinked towards the high-traffic doorway that had many people entering and leaving. Whilst rounding from the top down, Sparky waited until another person entered before stalking in afterwards. Usually, the alien was busy powering batteries for the generator that operated majority of the tech around but after doing so much, he grew bored and curious. Quiet feet clung to the walls and he navigated towards the far side where it seemed many humans were ordering drinks of sort.
His tongue parted one more and he frowned at the stale odor of some of the patrons but another smell was upon the air. Mildly strong, chemical laced and perhaps a bit sweet. Bulbous gaze drifted towards an array of glasses and mugs and a barrel that looked filled with a golden fluid. The person behind the counter gripped mugs, linked into each finger before plunging them in and scooping out the tantalizing liquid.
Sparky realized immediately, he needed to drink that. Like that of a monkey, he scaled the walls, seemingly undiscovered as many people were busied at their tables. Dropping from the height, he then skulked before the lip of the counter and waited for the person to walk away, his ears twitching for his sounds amongst the loud voices. Then, when he was sure they momentarily left he ascended the counter before approaching the opened barrel.
The experiment peered in deep, watching his canary reflection dance along the mild rippling of liquid gold. Leaning in, his hind feet gripped the edge to keep him balanced as he neared the contents with tongue outstretched. Blue tongue dipped into the mead, testing the flavor before realizing he liked it quite a bit. It bore sweetness with a strong flavor that he found that he enjoyed. Deciding he wanted more, he stumbled inwards and dove into the barrel fully to begin drinking it deeply. Sparky was unconcerned about his accidental topple that could have caused a evident sound, his mind was a bit muddled for some reason anyways.
