CONNOR HUNTFORD
Characters associated with the boxing, runty former gang member from Zootopia.
1. Raoul Huntford
Raoul is a 10 year-old anthropomorphic wolf from Zootopia. He’s the second son of Randall and Payton Huntford and is paralyzed from the waist down, but gets around on his wheelchair like a little daredevil.
Personality:
Raoul is loudmouthed, with zero filter and tends to say everything in either a sassy or angry way, even when he’s happy. He’s incredibly competitive and eager to fight the whole world. Like Connor he was taught from infancy that wolves stick together and is doggedly loyal and stubborn to the few he let’s into his heart. He hero-worships Connor even more than his father. He’s not afraid of anything at all and if not for his accident he’d be getting into trouble often and horrifyingly. He still does, it’s just easier to catch his wheelchair...usually.
Skills:
-Smart, killer memory and brain for math (hides it so as not to be called a ‘nerd’)
-Helped his mother around the diner as well as any adult
-Excellent liar
-Witty
Friends: Abigail Woolensworth (frenemy), his mom and dad, Connor, Any of the Rush Pack Gang
Enemies: All cops. Distrusts authority.
Clash suggestions: Raoul currently lives with the Gilded Wings with Connor and has a limited understanding of why Connor took him from home. He doesn’t know Connor ratted out their parents to the ZPD before they left. That could be dramatic. Would get along well with kids like Koda, Gurri, and Bunga. Knows who Colleen is and that his brother likes her and approves of them getting together. Gets jealous of any other kids his brother likes and does not know when to say no, so having him accept dares or go off trying to do something dangerous in the war is totally within possibility.
2.Payton Huntford
Payton is a 40 year-old female anthropomorphic wolf from Tundra Town, Zootopia. She is the mother of Connor and Raoul. Her father ran an illegal fight club and so even before she married Randall she was no stranger to the criminal underground of Zootopia. She’s a savvy businesswoman and gifted liar who compliments Randall’s leadership with her own iron will. She runs the Howling Winds diner more efficiently than most small business owners and does it while caring for one surly rung of a son and one disabled 10 year-old, as well as helping and keeping hidden the antics of her husband and his gang. She’s never flustered and takes everything in stride.
Personality:
Payton is a quick-thinking, quick-acting dynamite mom and wife. She’s a fantastic actor and liar and can think creatively to solve problems. For example, it was her idea to hire a terrible backup cook so that when cops or other government types tried their diner out, she could let Old Longtooth serve them their food and guarantee they never came sniffing around again. Her temper rivals Connor’s but is under control at all times, and even her hothead son and loudmouthed younger son can’t work up the bravery to talk back to her. When Randall loses his cool, she’s there to hold everything together. And her regular customers love her charm without ever suspecting she strikes fear into the hearts of her husband’s thugs.
Skills:
-Gifted Liar and Actress
-Cooks and runs two businesses
-Unflappable with kids and criminals alike
-Excellent marksman
Clash Suggestions: Aside from definitely searching for her sons and dealing with the fallout of whatever happened after Connor tipped the ZPD off to his parents’ criminal activity and effectively kidnapped his little brother, Payton could probably talk her way into joining any of the war factions. It’s likely that she knew Nick Wilde’s father. Randall first noticed her because she can “shoot the arm off a falling snowflake at a hundred yards.”
3. Randall Huntford
The gruff, passionate, power-hungry leader of the Rush Pack Gang and influential father of Connor and Raoul Huntford. He works best with Payton, his wife, reigning in his aggression. Believes firmly in wolves looking out for other wolves first and foremost and his gang being the most deserving of power in Tundra Town. Has high expectations for Connor since seeing his runty son’s aggression when turning savage, and expects no less of little Raoul even with the kid in a wheelchair. He tried to leave Tundra Town and get away from the criminal expectations of wolves in his home neighborhood shortly after marrying Payton, but when he found he couldn’t make a living “going straight” he returned, founded the Rush Pack Gang, and opened Howling Winds Diner as a front for their real criminal activity. He began the gang almost accidentally as a means to take underprivileged neighborhood wolves under his wing, but his lust for reputation and power, especially over Mr. Big’s, has grown stronger and stronger since.
Personality:
Randall is a tough, no-nonsense, effective leader. He has strong beliefs and is passionate about them, with a natural charisma that has other wolves following him and his worldview without question. His tongue can be both charming and unforgivingly sharp depending on the need, and he wields it with just as much skill as his fists and weapons. He has never been caught by the cops due to business savvy.
Skills:
Savage hand-to-hand combatant
Very effective, inspiring leader
Dangerously ambitious, makes the most of opportunities
Clash Suggestions: See Payton for interactions with Connor and Raoul. Would probably knock some discipline into Connor for betraying the family before disappearing. Would make an outstanding leader, especially to any other wolf or canine soldiers, in the Cursed Thorns.
4. Abigail Woolensworth
A fiesty, odd, lonely little anthropomorphic lamb of 9 years old from Tundra Town, Zootopia. She went to Snowflake Hall Academy, a rich prep school mostly for the prey animal demographic, and was taught by Colleen DunBark. Her parents are too busy to take notice of her so she lives with her grandmother, who pays for her schooling, and she had few friends before meeting Connor, possibly due to being the only black sheep in her class. She adored him and considered the 20 year-old to be her best friend, no matter how grouchy he was, until he turned savage and visiting him in the hospital scared her. Since then she still likes him but is more confused than ever about why Mrs. DunBark quit and moved away and why Connor and Raoul disappeared.
Personality:
Abigail, or “Abby” as Connor called her, is a spitfire of a lamb who is just as reckless and crazy as Connor’s younger brother Raoul, but with no wheelchair to hold her back from being dreamily adventurous. She’s excellent at talking back, being sassy, and getting her way out of sheer stubbornness and obnoxiousness, most of the time. She brings energy and fun to everything she does but can be insecure about not fitting in. She loves bright colors and new things and does not have any type of prejudices whatsoever. She actually gets most of her fiery personality from her grandmother, but having Colleen DunBark as a teacher also contributes! Though competitive and outspoken, Abigail is naturally disposed to kindness.
Skills:
-Very agile dancer
-Doesn’t follow the herd
-Wild abandon
-Endearing to adults with patience
Clash Suggestions: Connor and Abigail had a special friendship before he kind of tarnished it, so their meeting again would be heartbreaking and crazy and fun. She has an ongoing Cold War with his little brother Raoul. She is Colleen’s favorite pupil and honestly the collie should just adopt the lamb. Would make a great trainee to the Gilded Wings, but if she were found by Bellwhether, the evil sheep could probably easily manipulate the impressionable girl into becoming the pawn of the Cursed Thorns, too. Running away from Zootopia is well within the realm of possibility for Abigail, who is an expert at sneaking away from babysitters.
5. Rush Pack Gang
Consisting of 32 wolves including:
Vincent Fangmire
Toby Moonrim
Shamus and Marcus Lupe (brothers)
Skills:
All would have been trained by Randall Huntford in basic criminal activity including but not limited to: concealing and transporting illegal items, ducking the cops, brawling with enemies (especially polar bears or other animals in the employ of their rival, Mr. Big.)
Clash Suggestions: All knew of Connor and most of Colleen; definitely a few were sent out by Randall to find and bring Colleen back to him in order to keep the gang itself a secret. That would be crazy. Perfect for Cursed Thorns, but could be persuaded to join any faction out of a sense of pack mentality or as long as they felt accepted. Otherwise, clean slates.

TAIWO
Characters associated with the playful, hopeful orphan cub.
1. Jaribu
They young adult bachelor lion who’d been adjusting to life as a loner when he came across his mother and her new cub, his baby brother Taiwo, again. She was killed by leopards and he took over care of Taiwo, but since the war started, has disappeared.
Personality:
Jaribu lived life much like Timon and Pumbaa: no worries. He was your typical carefree college-age freeloader, having relaxation down to a science even though he’s actually naturally skilled as a hunter and fighter. He does not do well under pressure, or at least, must learn how to figure it out. Because he is understanding his responsibility to Taiwo, new insecurity was beginning to cripple him before his disappearance, leading to a suspicion that he wasn’t worthy or strong and wanting to fix this. He has a killer sense of humor and doesn’t get angry easily, making friends and getting out of scrapes with dumb luck and charm. Something of a ladies’ man.
Skills:
Charm and flirtation, able to talk his way out of trouble
Naturally athletic, just prefers to be lazy and chill
Good with kids
Creative, good storyteller
Clash Suggestions: Why did Jaribu leave Taiwo hanging? Has he been captured by the Cursed Thorns? Was he injured and taken in by the Gilded Wings? Did he join up with one of those two factions out of a desire to become better for Taiwo? Is he searching for their father out of a sense of inadequacy to take care of his little brother? Did he fall in love and decide Taiwo would be better of with Mufasa’s pride, without him? Up to you.
