"Ooof! Ouch! My bad! Sorry little guy-watch it! WHOA!"
It was like they'd put a bull in a China shop. Or an elephant in the living room. The teenage mammoth slid from stone doorway to stone doorway, from square tile to square tile, trying her best not to break anymore trinkets or candelabras or even any floorboards as she walked. Why they set her up here she'd never understand. She was an enormous animal from the Ice Age, what business did she have in a castle? She sighed and pushed her hair out of her face, eyes shut tightly as she stood still in the hallway.
She missed her family.
She missed her Dad and his big goofy laugh and his stern lectures. She missed her Mom and her sweet words and knowing all the right things to say. Her dumb Uncles, Sid and Diego. And Louis. Boy, did she miss her little molehog friend. Louis always knew what to do to make her feel better.
Thinking of Louis and the rest of her herd always made her cry. She rubbed her eye with the back of her knee, trying to stop the tears from flowing. She tried to find a place where she couldn't break anything in the hallway and sat against the stone wall. She rubbed her eye with her trunk and sniffled. Spotting someone out of the corner of her eye, she yelped, stumbling to her large feet. Her head swung and knocked into a creepy black chandelier, sending it swinging.
"Oh I'm sorry!!! My bad!!! I didn't mean to-I was just-I wasn't slacking off! I promise, I was just...just..."
