(ooc: Closed to Kopa and Sarabi.)
"And that's when I snuck up right behind her, and I pounced! You should've seen her face, grammy!"
Even when Kopa had plenty of other things to keep him occupied around the Great Forest, he still found himself seeking out his beloved grandmother. There was just something pleasant about being in her presence. He may not have had the most interesting stories to tell, nor was he anyone of note in the Enchanted Suns army yet, but Kopa knew she would listen to him talk. It was a rare moment where she and his grandfather weren't both tied down with army tasks at the same time. Kopa wanted to cherish that while he could. So, when he'd exchanged greetings and head bumps with her that were essentially ritual by then, he'd leaped into a story about how he had gotten the 'drop' on Gurri. He was beaming from ear to ear and flopped over on his side, paws splayed out in such a way to mimic what he imagined Gurri had looked like when he'd caught her. Was it silly? Definitely. That was his specialty, though.
"It was great," he continued after a moment. Only then did he stop. His grandmother had been around for far longer than he had, and though part of him felt like he shouldn't nudge her for tales of her own... he couldn't help feeling a little like he should do that very thing. After all, he loved listening to Sarabi talk. She had such a calming demeanor about her. Truth be told, Kopa would have willingly listened to her stories for hours if he could. So... yes. He was decided.
"But what've you been up to, grammy?" Kopa rolled over so he was on his belly. There were bits of grass stuck in his babyish mane and creamy fur, but he didn't care. His gaze was focused, but soft.
"You must have a lot of stories to tell too, right?"
