the personality

overall personality • Dragon isn't very smart but he makes up for it with ruthlessness and viciousness. He's a little more affectionate towards humans but like most big kitties he's demanding and will yell at humans to give him stuff. He's an elite hunter, however, and doesn't mind the killing one bit.

the history

overall history • Dragon was the kitten of a barn cat on the Fitzgibbon farm. However little Dragon was far too small. Mrs. Fitzgibbon gave him that name as a joke, the little kitten trying to yowl and catch mice far too big for him. But the name ended up being perfect when the cat grew into a monster. The Fitzgibbons, farmers, were pleased by this and by the fact Dragon seemed to flush out and kill rodents like it was his job.

Dragon enjoyed roaming the farm and killing mice, rats and all other small animals. He was blissfully unaware that he was being drugged on a regular basis by the farm's mice. 

Unfortunately for the other side of the war and the Rats of NIMH someone from the Thorns was more than happy to spill the beans to the cat on their way to the war. Dragon was infuriated when he found out. In exchange for his skills as a hunter and a fighter he'd be allowed to kill as many rats as he wanted. And anything else that made its way under his claws.
