(ooc: Set after the Star-Fall. Open to all who would be in the area.)
As if things hadn't been odd enough to begin with, with the world plunged into war, everything seemed to be turned on its head once again. A few nights before, if she'd been told what to expect, the Light Fury would have scoffed at the idea. The stars vanishing from the night sky... preposterous! Bodies that belonged in the sky couldn't just disappear. Now, as she glided through the sky, she found herself standing out all the more. There wasn't a single tiny beacon in the sky beyond the moon.
A frightened burble crept up from within her throat as she flapped her wings and guided herself to the ground once more. She couldn't stay up in the sky, not when it risked her being seen. She could have easily cloaked herself in her camouflage, would have found comfort in the action, but her thoughts were jumbled.
Once she was on the ground, she brought her wings close to her body and started to pace. There wasn't a lot she could do about the present situation, she realized. She was just one dragon. That being said, Light Fury still was a resident of this odd merged world. Part of her insisted she had a right to feel uneasy about the way things were developing.
Her concerns started to mount the more she thought about it. If the stars could disappear, did that mean the moon could as well? What about the sun? Was the world just going to be plunged into darkness? A small thought that it wouldn't be such a bad thing if the light was snuffed out did register for a moment. If no one could see anything, and she could keep camouflaging herself, then she could do whatever she pleased. But then the world would be cold. Far too cold for anything to live, she reasoned. So surely she should be concerned. Yes, she thought as she gave her head a nod. She had reason to be scared. The world just wasn't right anymore.
Finally, she stopped pacing. She knew by then that she wasn't the only creature that lived in the forest. Maybe someone else would know what was going on and what to do. So she lifted her head and called out into the open air. At any other point she wouldn't have openly called attention to herself. In this case, though? Company of another creature just as confused as herself would have been far more welcome than being alone.
