This land was much different than her own in almost ever sense, although she wouldn't say it was exactly surprising or had taken her aback at all. Tree's, thick roots twining over moss and rocks and streams every once in a while with a bed of soft grass. It was considerably nicer to look at than her home in the north, she could see why there was so many cities and communities clumped up into these types of area's. Her own home was cold and unforgiving, littered with wolves and dragons that concealed themselves into icy crevasse and lunged at you the moment you stepped too close. Primrose, although fond of her home and dearly missing certain things about it, didn't mind this place so much.
Heimdall had taken a few days to acclimatize but he seemed relatively okay, happily slurping up a rock from a nearby steam and crunched it down his massive throat. Primrose had just stepped into their small clearing surrounded by thickets of bushes with their back pressed up against a massive stone slab encased in moss and roots. A fallen tree was between it and the water, a back of her things rested against the log and Heimdalls saddle and gear neatly hitched up against the stone.
"Heimdall." she greeted him as he looked over his massive shoulder. His gaze rested upon her and there was a shift in his massive features that said he was happy to see her, jaws opening to shudder a gleeful rumble at her return. She'd been to Corona, leaving Heimdall behind with their things for a short while to gather some things and gain what information about the area that she could. Heimdall would stick out like a sore thumb, and likely have triggered some sort of defensive attack if they weren't accustom to dragons in their day.
"The people mentioned something about armies. I saw posters for something Enchanted what nots around the place." she sighed. As she spoke her slender fingers undid the tightly pulled knots holding her cloak up. It was much warmer here than back home too, after walking the distance to Corona and back to Heimdall she needed a break from the furs. It slid from her shoulders and she gently let it hand from a thick branch nearby before she carefully navigated to Heimdalls side. Crouching beside him she reached into the water, splashing her face with the brisk stream water before letting the water run down her chin and neck and glancing upwards to the canopy of leaves above them. The light of the sun seemed more golden here, as if it favored this lands more than her own home.
"What do you think, Heimdall.." she trailed off faintly almost as though she were dreaming, "Want to get caught up in someone else's war...?" She abruptly turned her head to look up at him. He snorted with a gurgle and she laughed only softly, so brisk it almost didn't even sound like a genuine laugh. She hoisted herself back up, pushing her hands against her knees to help propel into a standing position and leaning up on her tippy toes. Her hand reached up and grabbed Heimdalls massive dish like horns and gave it a rough tug.
"Yes I know." she laughed, this time it sounded more genuine, and the massive beast responded be tilting his head into her tough pull so the pale splotchy heart to press upon the side of her head. He rumbled pleasantly while chomping the remains of his previous stone he snorfed up, his closest eye trained upon her face, she didn't need to say it for either of them to know what the other meant.
You and me, big guy.
"But you have to eat more than rocks for your dinner tonight." she snorted, rolling her eyes and giving him a shove with as much force as she could muster. It barely made him budge, and his shoulders shook as he made a repeated gurgling noise that sounded suspiciously like chortling.
