((January 23rd, mid-afternoon or so. Open to all Tangled characters.))
Well, here they were again.
Willingly returning to near Corona still felt so weird to her. While Angry hadn't seen hide nor hair of any of the Baron's men since she and Red had caught that hay cart out of Corona, she wasn't foolish enough to think that the criminal would have forgotten them. Eugene had told them he never stopped coming after those who had wronged him... but, all the same? The Snuggly Duckling just felt like a safe zone. Like, if there was one place in Corona where the Baron's men wouldn't want to start trouble, it would be here.
Angry had ventured into the inn half a step ahead of her companion, just in case there was any sign of trouble. The dark-haired little girl had been leaning against the doorpost, looking nonchalant, for a few minutes; and, when no-one within had reacted to her presence, she figured she was safe. Casting a glance back over her shoulder, she whistled softly for her friend.
"Come on, Red."
When had they started calling each other by Lance and Eugene's nicknames? Angry wasn't sure; but, despite her insistence that they didn't do nicknames, those two had stuck fast. Perhaps it was just because it made more sense that using their real names in public... or perhaps it was fondness for the two ex-thieves who'd been the first people to ever show them kindness.
Either way, they seemed to be a permanent fixture now.
"No-one in here's gonna bother us. Let's see what we can find about your Gilded Wings."
Angry still wasn't completely sold on the idea, in all truth. But Red had been so convinced that this was something they should do... and, while Angry might act like the boss of the quieter girl on occasion, she didn't have the heart to shoot Red down when she genuinely believed in something. Still, if you asked her, Angry was more here to have her friend's back than because she actually cared much what happened in some adults' war.
Though she moved confidently into the room, Angry stopped when they reached the centre, glancing to Red who she assumed had followed her in. This was, after all, Red's deal; so she was sort of silently asking her partner-in-crime how she wanted to proceed with this.
So far, she hadn't glimpsed any familiar faces amongst the clientele... but who knew? That could always change soon enough.
