Girlish laugher filled the air as Rebecca was left twittering at Scamp's display. She wasn't meaning to make fun of him, but he looked so funny after falling into the fountain. Her paw was raised to cover her mouth, but it was clear enough her giggling hadn't quite died down yet. Once he got out of the fountain, though, and introduced himself, Rebecca did find her calm again. He was older than her for sure, and yet he acted as though he was a puppy still. Such an interesting dog, this Scamp. She hardly thought it was a bad thing. More than anything, it just struck her as interesting.
"I'm Rebecca. Or Becca if you'd prefer," Rebecca introduced. She nodded her head at Maid Marian's answer to his question, but she wanted to supply her own as well anyway. "The idea of just... entertaining. It kind of struck me th'other day that it'd be fun ta do. So... I wanted to learn to find my rhythm, I guess." She shrugged her shoulders lightly at that much. Then she decided to follow through with something else.
"I apologize, by the way. For laughin'. You did look kind of silly, though." Again, her paw was raised to cover her mouth as a little bit more twittering laughter escaped her. That laughter died down soon after, though, when Puss arrived on the scene. A bipedal cat wearing boots and other such fancy attire. It was hardly the strangest thing Rebecca had seen. He was so suave sounding, though. So... interested in what they were doing, too. She beamed at that.
His teasing tone wasn't missed. Rebecca bowed in turn, giggling all over again.
"Th'honor is mine, lad," Rebecca said. "We'd love ta learn! Wouldn't we, Scamp?" Surely Scamp would want to learn from Puss, too. If he did want to get better right alongside her, then it would make sense to start with both Marian and Puss' lessons. Right?
