(ooc: January 17th, late morning. Open to all Enchanted Suns who want to learn to cook or just want to help in the kitchen in general.)
"All right, y'all. I'd like to thank those of you who stopped by for bein' here. While I am gonna focus on showin' you the ropes, we gotta remember that we do have people to feed. So it's doubling as a lesson and a way to make food for everyone too."
Multitasking wasn't exactly foreign to Tiana. She liked to think she was something of a master when it came to that much. However, she hadn't quite imagined herself in the teacher's position for anyone other than Naveen before joining the army. It would be a big help to have extra hands in the Arendelle castle kitchen, though. That was why she was so eager to accept the help from her fellow Suns while she had the chance.
The kitchen was spotless, cleaned top to bottom at Tiana's request the previous day. At the counters, there was a myriad of ingredients to choose from. The choices ranged from the best bread Tiana could have hoped to get her hands on, various cuts of meat, a healthy selection of vegetables, spices, and even a few fruits here and there. There also was a nice selection of cutting knives, mixing utensils, and other such necessities. Stuck to the wall was a menu Tiana had been working on the night before. She did look a bit tired because she had stayed up a bit later than intended, but it was nothing that she couldn't work past. The princess of Maldonia had a smile on her face, her apron on, and just about looked like she was ready to whip everyone into cooking shape because of it.
"It's gettin' close to lunch," she said, "so I thought we'd start with something relatively simple for today. A hearty lunch of stew with some rice, and for dessert I was thinking we could go with a nice fresh fruit salad. Now..." She knew that it would be a bit intimidating to start. Or at the very least, it might sound intimidating. That was why Tiana was hoping her friendly air was helping everyone to relax.
"Who here can tell me what the first step would be for preparing our vegetables and meats for the stew?" It was a fairly simple step. That didn't make it any less necessary to follow through with.
