(February 5th, SAME TIME AS A Fitting Response. Open to all children in the Suns. Children being anyone under the age of 18.)
Across the woods from a very important meeting, under a shady set of trees, another meeting was brewing.
While a regal lion, red maned like the sun, ran one, a gap toothed young fawn ran the other.
The fawn, Gurri by name, was a princess. And a princess did not sit back while her people were harmed.
Gurri had heard about the attack on her people from the Cursed Thorns. While the Thorns were fun to play and all when it came to she and Kopa's games but when it came to real life the Thorns were scary and bad. It seemed they'd injured every member of the party who'd gone out for supplies. Bambi and Faline had tried to shield her from seeing but she'd seen at least a little blood and a few injuries. But mostly she'd seen disappointed faces. Faces that looked the way she did when she lost a game of tag with Geno. Or faces when Mom made her eat something new and yucky. Just absolute sadness.
Which was why she called this little meeting. She had Kopa and the others spread the whispers of a kid's meeting in the camp. Gurri had some ideas. She wasn't stupid despite her reckless attitude. Some might take the group of kids, march headfirst into the Black Keep and take on whoever came at her little army. Maybe take on some big cats. But Gurri wouldn't do that. They'd all end up dead as doornails.
Now she was pacing back and forth, ears flicking upwards as she waited for animals and man-fawns to arrive. Her tail flicked back and forth, her blue eyes narrowed in determination. She was a silly thing but even she knew when to get serious. But really her reason for collecting the group was a bit selfish. She would never want HER subjects' faces to look like that ever. If she was the head of the herd everyone would smile all the time. And this little gathering was the start.
Her ears flicked upwards as she heard someone stumble through the brush. She smiled. "Welcome to..." She paused for dramatic effect.
"The Enchanted STARS! Get it? Cuz we're little suns! It's my awesomely awesome cool badass nickname I just came up with for us. Whatcha think?"
